Sales Representative

Central Business Group (CBG) is seeking a self-starting and energetic sales reps for our Ohio (Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo), Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville) and Tennessee (Knoxville and Nashville) markets. If you have a proven track record of sales success in the scholastic, medical, governmental, financial, banking, professional or library markets, CBG is interested in hearing from you.

Opportunities exist in each of our three divisions:

1. Data, document, Library and material storage and retrieval: CBG has been providing Spacesaver high-density storage and retrieval systems throughout our market area since 1974.

2. Information Management Solutions Division: Records management software and hardware, on demand labels, document workflow, imaging, and process improvement solutions.

3. Professional Business Services: records relocation, purge or conversion of files, document imaging conversions.

Software Sales/Information Management Solutions Division

Territory Wide

As an industry leader in records management software and document storage systems, CBG is anxious to expand our presence in these markets. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated success of 3 years or more in software sales plus experience in records or document management, workflow, or CRM type software.

Responsibilities will include:

      • Demonstrated success at selling productivity software to mid market customers
      • Identify general information management applications to be targeted by CBG
      • Sales cycle responsibilities
      • Qualify and assess customer needs
      • Gather information relative to business and implementation requirements for information management
      • Facilitate, attend, and secure appropriate additional resources, for all pre-sales meetings
      • Provide solution implementation documentation relative to Individual customer requirements, for solution analyst review
      • Provide adequate information to sales team to prepare for the participation in respective areas (Solutions Analyst, RFP's, custom demos, Post implementation support)
      • Help create customized demos
      • Create proposal, incorporating the solution architecture, required discovery and team input (i.e. RFP template responses)
      • Ensure that the term "Discovery" and the expected deliverable is clearly defined to the customer
      • Ensure Systems Analyst involvement in designing the solution architecture and reviewing the proposal prior to submission
